Affiliate disclosure: how I earn
I take part in the GetYourGuide affiliate programme. Book one of the six listings through a link on this site and GetYourGuide pays me a commission out of their side of the transaction. You pay the platform’s price either way, and never a cent more for having come through here.
The unusual part: I earn nothing on the castle
On most sites like this one the attraction’s own admission is the thing being sold. Here it is not on the platform at all. Schloss Moritzburg keeps its admission on its own counter and its own website, so every euro you spend getting into the castle goes to the castle and none of it comes to me. What I can earn a commission on is the ride out there: the guided day from Dresden, the cars from Prague, the van through the vineyards, the scavenger hunt. That is worth knowing while you read me recommending any of them. The six listings, and the castle’s own published rates.
Where the links are
Every tour card, every availability widget and every check-availability button on the site. They open in a new tab. No operator has paid to appear here, none has seen a page before it went up, and none has any say in what these pages say. The castle itself has no arrangement with me of any kind. The pages those links sit on.
What the commission does not change
It does not change which listings appear or what each page says about them. Two of the six carry a castle ticket and four do not, and every page says which before it says anything else. The van tour review opens by stating that the Moritzburg stop is half an hour and stays outside the building. The eleven-hour Prague day has one rating on the platform, and its page says so in the first sentence instead of putting five stars in a heading. Two listings have no rating at all and their pages say that too. None of that is good for commission and all of it is true.
Prices and counts move
Prices in my copy are spoken approximations, read off the listings when the site was last built, and the live widget on the page is the figure to trust wherever the two differ. Rating counts are written exactly while they are small, which on this site is all of them. The castle’s own tariff is its published 2026 figure and is printed once.
